  • Package General

    • Where will I be staying?

      We will accommodate you in a self-catering apartment or townhouse at one of our Marriott Vacation Club International resorts in Europe, or at a Marriott selected five-star hotel. Breakfast is included for hotel guests.
    • May I transfer my package to someone else?

      The Marriott Vacation Club International holiday preview packages are non-transferable.
    • What is the cancellation policy for Marriott Vacation Club International holiday packages?

      If you decide to cancel the package more than 31 days before travelling (if you have already booked dates) you will receive a 40% refund. If you cancel more than 31 days before your package expires (if you have not booked dates yet), you will receive a 60% refund. If you cancel within a 30 day term, no refund is possible.
  • Booking

    • Where can I book my break?

      You book your preview package directly with Marriott Vacation Club International online or by calling +44(0) 20 3027 3891.
    • How far in advance do I need to make my booking?

      All bookings are subject to availability of accommodation, and all bookings need to be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the travel date.
    • What is the period that the high season supplement applies?

      The high season supplement depends on the offer but typically applies in the period between July and August and Easter holidays.
    • Do I get a confirmation?

      You will receive confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours of making your booking, and a call from a representative within 72 hours. Please do not make your travel arrangements until after you have received this confirmation call.
    • Why do I have to provide my flight details within 72 hours after the booking?

      In order to complete your booking we need to be able to confirm your flight details to Sixt, our hire car partner.
    • Can I reschedule my booking?

      After your booking is confirmed, you generally have the possibility to reschedule once, however it must be more than 31 days before travelling and a re-schedule fee of £75/€100 applies.
  • Resort

    • How do I get to the resort if I do not have a hire car?

      You can take a taxi from the airport. If you are staying at Marriott’s Playa Andaluza or Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort, it is also possible to travel to the resort by bus.
    • When is check-in/check-out time?

      Resort: Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 10am.
    • What is the closest airport to the resort?

      The closest airport for Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort and Marriott's Playa Andaluza is Malaga airport. The closest airport to Marriott's Club Son Antem is Palma de Mallorca and for Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France is Charles de Gaulle.
    • How far away is Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort/Marriott’s Playa Andaluza from Malaga Airport?

      The resorts are approximately 50/60 km from Malaga Airport; this is approximately 45-60 minutes drive.
    • How far is Marriott’s Club Son Antem from Palma Airport?

      The resort is approximately 15km from Palma Airport, this is approximately 20 minutes drive.
    • Is breakfast included?

      The apartments/townhouses are self-catering, so no breakfast is included.
    • Can I bring my pet with me?

      There are no pets allowed in the Marriott Vacation Club International Resorts with the exception of guide and assistance dogs.
    • Is there any possibility to leave my children during my holidays?

      All of our resorts have Kids Clubs. At Marriott’s Club Son Antem, the Kids Club is open to children aged between 3 and 14 years old and there will be a small charge for materials. At both Marriott’s Playa Andaluza and Marriott’s Club Son Antem, the Kids Clubs are available for children aged between 3 and 12 years old, and is free of charge. There is also a babysitting service available at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort; this service is chargeable to your apartment and should be booked in advance of your arrival.
    • Do I have to pay for car parking?

      There is no charge for car parking in the Marriott Vacation Club International resorts.
    • Is there any supermarket/possibility to buy daily necessary things in the resort?

      All of our resorts have a mini-market where you can buy daily essentials/groceries in addition to snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, coffee, wine and spirits.
    • Are there restaurants/bars in the resorts?

      At Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort, there are two restaurants and one bar, at Marriott’s Playa Andaluza, there is one restaurant and at Marriott’s Club Son Antem there is one restaurant and one bar.
    • Is it possible to hire golf equipment in at Marriott’s Club Son Antem?

      Yes, you can hire golf equipment which will be charged to your townhouse.
  • Townhouses/Apartments

    • Can I take my children with me?

      If you are staying in an apartment/townhouse you can take up to 4 children with you. All apartments and townhouses have two double bedrooms and a double sofa-bed in the lounge.
    • Can I take my sister/brother/parents with me?

    • Are the townhouses/apartments suitable for people with a disability?

      All of our resorts have apartments/townhouses that can be accessed with a wheelchair. Please request when you make your booking.
    • Do I have internet connection in the townhouse/apartment?

      You have internet connection in all townhouses/apartments in the Marriott Vacation Club International resorts in Spain.
    • Can you supply a cot?

      Yes, please request when you make your booking.
    • How many bathrooms are there in the townhouse/apartment?

      Each bedroom in the townhouses/apartments is en-suite, so you will have 2 bathrooms in a two-bedroom-apartment/townhouse.
    • What kind of beds are there in the townhouse/apartments?

      The rooms have double beds.
    • Are towels provided?

      Towels are provided in the townhouse/apartments.
    • Are towels for the pool/beach provided?

      Unfortunately you cannot use the towels provided in the apartments/townhouses for the pool or beach, and we would recommend that you bring a beach towel with you.
  • Tour/Presentation

    • How long does the presentation last?

      The presentation will last approximately 90 minutes, and includes a tour through the resort and a presentation of Marriott Vacation Club International holiday concept.
    • Will you offer me a lunch if the presentation is over lunchtime?

      In every presentation we will offer you a range of snacks and drinks.
    • Can I bring my children to the presentation?

      There is a play area for children in the same room as the presentation, so you will be able to keep an eye on your children.
    • Is there any pressure to buy?

      There is absolutely no pressure to purchase. The presentation takes the form of a one-to-one discussion with one of our holiday specialists, who will take you through Marriott’s holiday ownership concept and will answer any questions you may have.
  • Hotels

    • Can I take my children with me?

      If you are going to be staying in hotel accommodation, you may bring up to 2 children under the age of 12. There will be a small charge for the second child. Please contact our reservation centre for further details.
    • Can I take my sister/brother/parents with me?

    • Can you supply a cot?

    • Where can I use my dinner/spa/golf voucher?

      You can use your vouchers in the resort you have booked. You will receive other options for voucher use in your Welcome Package that you will receive on arrival.
    • When do I receive my voucher?

      You will receive your voucher at the resort/hotel.
    • When do I receive my miles?

      If your offer includes miles, you will receive them in your miles account approximately 8 to 10 weeks after returning from your holiday preview.
  • Car Hire

    • What is the name of the car hire company?

      Sixt
    • Will my hire car have air-conditioning?

      Yes, all hire cars have air-conditioning.
    • Where can I pick-up/drop-off the car?

      You can pick-up/drop-off your car in Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Alicante. It is possible to pick-up/drop-off your car in Jerez de la Frontera, however please note a €35 airport fee applies. It is also possible to pick-up and drop-off your car in the resort (this must be between 08.00am and 04.00pm and we need you to confirm the exact time of your arrival/departure).
    • Can I extend/upgrade my car?

      It is possible to extend the duration of your car hire and/or upgrade your car, however this needs to be requested a minimum of 14 days prior to your travel date. The charge will be made directly to your credit card.
    • Does the car hire company provide baby seats?

      We can request a baby seat for you, however please note that these requests cannot be guaranteed by Sixt. If a baby seat is supplied, an additional charge will be made by Sixt in Spain.
    • Does the car hire company provide GRPS?

      We can request GRPS for you however please note that these requests cannot be guaranteed by Sixt.
    • If I arrive very late at night, can I still can pick up the car in the airport?

      Sixt desks are open 24 hours a day. As you provide us the flight details we can inform Sixt about your late arrival and they will have the car prepared for you.
